Lance Corporal Donald Ferguson Blair from Kilsyth Scotland, served with A Company, the 2nd Battalion, The Parachute Regiment (2 PARA).23 year old L/Cpl Blair was killed on 27 August 1979 at Warrenpoint, Northern Ireland by the second bomb detonated by the IRA that day. He was Officer Commanding Major Fursman's radio operator and had arrived after an earlier explosion.
