Lance Corporal David Jones of 3 PARA, was killed in an encounter in Glenshane Pass, Londonderry, on 17 March 1978.
He is remembered in Upperlands Remembrance Garden in the village close to where he fell, a Parachute Regiment Cross in placed at the Memorial Stone
