Peter joined the GPA Company in 1965 and was on the same Hardening course as Joe Lowrey CG. He achieved the rank of Lance Corporal of Horse during his 10 years in the Company until their disbandment in October 1975.

He did Operational tours of Borneo and Northern Ireland as well as tours in BAOR including the Middle East and Far East. Peter was the MT Non Commissioned Officer from 1974 till 1975. Peter was a key supporter of the GPA and attended reunion dinners for many years.

He sadly passed away in 2023.
