Private Harry Lockwood, son of Janet Lockwood, of Dewsbury Moor, Dewsbury, Yorkshire, served with 2nd Parachute Battalion. He took part in the invasion of Sicily, during Op Husky.Private Lockwood died on 14 July 1943, aged 23 years old. He is now buried at Catania War Cemetery, Sicily.
