Alexander Graham enlisted into the Royal Engineers before volunteering for airborne forces during World War II.After qualifying as a military parachutist on Course 62 which ran at RAF Ringway from 26 April to 6 May 1943 he was posted as a reinforcement to S Coy, 6th (Royal Welch) Parachute Battalion.
