Dominic Harker enlisted into The Parachute Regiment in 1990 and joined 21 Alpha Platoon (Pln), Junior Para Company at Pirbright.When he was 17 years old he went to P Company (Coy) and Passed Out with 564 Platoon on 21 June 1991.
Private Harker was then posted to 3 Pln, A Coy, 2nd Battalion, The Parachute Regiment (2 PARA). Private Harker also served in Anti-Tank Pln, Support Coy and Headquarters Coy, 2 PARA as a Physical Training Instructor.
In September 1995 Pte Harker left 2 PARA having completed two tours of Operation Banner (Northern Ireland).
