Henry Joseph Patchett was the son of Harry and Kathleen Patchett of Grimsby, Lincolnshire.
He served as a Gunner with C Troop, 2 Battery, 1st Airlanding Light Regiment, Royal Artillery.
Henry took part in the glider insertion at the Battle of Arnhem, during Operation Market Garden.
Henry died on 22 September 1944, aged 21 years old, and has no known grave and is commemorated on the Memorial at Groesbeek Canadian War Cemetery.
