Private Leonard Hayselden was the son of Percy and Lily Hayselden, and husband of Maud Hayselden, of Knutsford, Cheshire. He served with 1st Parachute Battalion and took part in the North African campaign, during Op Torch.Private Hayselden died on 30 March 1943, aged 27 years old. He is now commemorated on the Memorial at Medjez-el-Bab War Cemetery, Tunisia.
