Private Francis Frederick Slough, 12 Platoon, D Company, 2 PARA was mortally wounded during the final stage of the battle for Wireless Ridge and evacuated to the field hospital but died of his wounds under resuscitation. He was just 19 years old.Pte Slough was buried at San Carlos Cemetery, Falkland Islands.
