Airborne Assault MuseumPhilip Mann enlisted into the Junior Trademens Regiment with 3 Royal Green Jackets in Rhyl in 1965.
He then enlisted in 44th Parachute Brigade (Volunteers) in 1969. Private Mann undertook his parachute training at RAF Abingdon on course 8/70 in June 1970.
In 1973 Pte Mann was posted to 2 Company, 10th Battalion, The Parachute Regiment (V) and served with them until 1975.
