Private George Everington

Private George Charles Hugh Everington was the son of George William and Freida Clare Everington, and husband of Louisa Everington, of Kippax, Yorkshire. He served with 1st (Airborne) Battalion, Border Regiment and took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.He died on 22 September 1944, aged 20 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
