Lieutenant Lindsay D Delacour, son of Lawrence Louis and Jessie Emma Delacour, of Notting Hill, London, served with 156th Parachute Battalion. He took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.He died on 19 September 1944, aged 24 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
