Private Alfred Francis Cowley served with 11th Parachute Battalion. He took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.Private Cowley died on 24 September 1944, aged 19 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemtery, Arnhem.
