Private William John Allen, son of William George and Jessica Mary Allen, of Warham, Norfolk, served with B Company, 10th Parachute Battalion. He took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.Private Allen died on 18 September 1944, aged 19 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
