Corporal Desmond Horace Kinsman Mason, son of Frederick John and Mildred Elizabeth Mason, of Clapham, London, served with 1st Aiborne Recce Squadron, Reconnaissance Corps. He took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.Corporal Mason died on 20 September 1944, aged 21 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
