Lance Corporal Lawrence Harold Brown, son of Henry John and Alice Dorothy Brown, of Dagenham, Essex, served with 1st Parachute Battalion. He took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.Lance Corporal Brown died on 25 September 1944, aged 21 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
