Lieutenant Alan Gordon David Brown, son of Andrew and Elizabeth Bond Brown, of Muswell Hill, Middlesex, served with 3rd Parachute Battalion. He took part in the Italian campaign, during Autumn 1943.Lieutenant Brown died on 30 October 1943, aged 20 years old. He is now buried at Sangro River War Cemetery, near Taranto, Italy.
