Michael Gordon Carr, son of Walter and Maggie Carr, of Northwood, Middlesex and husband of Elaine Carr of Pinner Middlesex served with A and C Companies, The 6th (Royal Welch) Parachute Battalion.Major Carr served in Italy, the south of France and on Operation Manna in Greece.
He was Killed in Action, aged 26 on 10 December 1944 and is now buried in Phaleron War Cemetery, Greece.
