Cecil Richard Morris was the son of Miriam Morris, of Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.After volunteering for airborne forces, Private Morris served with 2nd (Airborne) Battalion, Oxford and Bucks Light Infantry.
He was killed on 8 April 1945 and is now buried in Hanover War Cemetery, Germany.
