Harry Alan Lucas was the son of Charles and Florence Beatrice Lucas, of South Yardley, Birmingham.After volunteering for airborne forces, Private Lucas served with 2nd (Airborne) Battalion, Oxford and Bucks Light Infantry.

He was killed on the 2 April 1945 and is now buried in Hanover War Cemetery, Germany.
