Henry Kaits was the son of Sarah Kaits and husband of Sybil Kaits, of Hampstead, London. He enlisted into the Middlesex Regiment.After volunteering for airborne forces, Private Kaits was posted to 195 Airlanding Field Ambulance, Royal Army Medical Corps.

He was killed on 25 August 1944 and is now buried in Beuzeville Communal Cemetery, France.
