Henry James Taylor was born in Lancaster on 27 March 1927.Lance Corporal Taylor successfully completed his parachute training on the 18 October 1945 on course B/181. He was then posted 224 Parachute Field Ambulance, RAMC.

L/Cpl Taylor served in Palestine, he died on 27 January 1948 and is now buried in Haifa War Cemetery, Palestine.
