Denis Younger was the son of John Patrick and Barbara Younger, of New Fenham, Newcastle-on-Tyne.Lieutenant Younger Served with HQ 6th Airborne Division in Palestine.

He died on 10 July 1947 and is now buried in Khayat Beach War Cemetery, Israel.
