James Dugald Grant was the son of James and Elizabeth Grant, of Drumnadrochit, Invernessshire.He successfully completed his training at Ringway on 23rd August 1942.
Sergeant Grant was posted to 5th (Scottish) Parachute Battalion.
He served in North Africa and Italy.
He died on 4 February 1944 and is now commemorated at the Cassino Memorial, Italy.
