Private Edwin Barlow, son of Edwin and Elizabeth Barlow, of Horwich, Lancashire, served with 5th (Scottish) Parachute Battalion. He took part in the Italian campaign during Winter 1943.Private Barlow died on 13 December 1943, aged 25 years old. He is now buried at Sangro River War Cemetery, near Taranto, Italy.
