Private Peter McDonald Poupard, son of Herbert Charles and Meta Elizabeth Poupard, of West Norwood, London, served with the Signals Platoon, HQ Company, 10th Parachute Battalion. He took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.Private Poupard died on 18 September 1944, aged 19 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
