Craftsman Arthur Rowley Halliday served with 12th Airlanding Light Aid Detachment, Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers. He took part in the Normandy campaign, during Op Overlord.Craftsman Halliday died on 12 August 1944, aged 32 years old. He is now buried at Ranville War Cemetery, Normandy.
