Lance Corporal Frank Horace Alfred Fannon served with B Company, 2nd Battalion, The Parachute Regiment,.He died on 9 April 1952 in a parachuting accident during Exercise Coughdrop II in the Canal Zone, Egypt, only a few days before his 19th birthday.
L/Cpl Fannon is now buried in Fayid War Cemetery, Egypt.
