Sergeant Harry Walker was the son of John and Edith Walker, and husband of Phyllis Joan Walker, of Hove, Sussex. He served with 1st Wing, Glider Pilot Regiment and took part in the glider insertion to the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.Sergeant Walker died on 29 September 1944, aged 29 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
