Rifleman Robert James Miskimmin was the son of Matthew John and Mary Miskimmin, and husband of Florence Violet Miskimmin, of Ramsbury, Wiltshire. He served with 1st (Airborne) Battalion, Royal Ulster Rifles and took part in the Rhine Crossing, during Op Varsity.Rifleman Miskimmin died on the first day, 24 March 1944, aged 23 years old. He is now buried at Venray War Cemetery, Limburg.
