Sapper George Aylard

Sapper George Oscar Aylard, son of Reginald George and Bertha Irena Aylard, of West Croydon, Surrey, served with 3rd Parachute Squadron. he took part in the Ardennes offensive in winter 1944-5.Sapper Aylard died on 12 February 1945, aged 25 years old. He is now buried at Venray War Cemetery, Holland.
