Sergeant Horace Marriott

Sergeant Horace Marriott, son of Joseph and Hannah Marriott, and husband of Dorris Helene Marriott, of Morehall, Folkestone, served with 1st Airlanding Light Regiment, Royal Artillery. He took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.He died on 25 September 1944, aged 31 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
