Corporal Frank Dodgson Barton, son of Richard Edward and Ethel Barton, of Moston, Lancashire, served with 13th (South Lancs) Parachute Battalion. He took part in the Normandy campaign.Corporal Barton died on 19 August 1944, aged 21 years old. He is now buried at Putot-en-Auge Churchyard, Putot-en-Auge, Normandy.
