Private John Fisher, son of John and Christina Fisher, of Glasgow, served with 13 Platoon, D Company of 7th (Airborne) Battalion, King's Own Scottish Borderers. He took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.Private Fisher died on 20 September 1944, aged 20 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
