James Terence Leech successfully completed his parachute training on the 21 July 1945. It was noted that he was "well controlled"Private Leech was posted to the Army Air Corps Holding Battalion, before being transferred to 2 Battalion, The Parachute Regiment, where he served in Palestine.
He was killed on the 16 June 1947 and is now buried in Khayat Beach War Cemetery, Israel.
