Enlisted with RASC in 1966 then transfered to REME as I was serving my apprenticeship as a VM.Transferred to 15 PARA as a VM, but majority of the time was spent as infantry.

When promotion ceiling was reached transfered back to RCT and completed an Artificer Promotion Board to SSgt.

Due to work commitments moved to Specialist TA at Bordon REME. Completed service with various Wksps, ending up at Marchwood Military Port with 17 Port & Maritime Wksp as TA increment WO2.
