Jon Davidson served with 7th (Galloway) Battalion, The King's Own Scottish Borderers (KOSB) as a Corporal in the Anti-Tank Platoon, HQ/Support Company, at Arnhem.His 6 pounder anti-tank gun supported B Company, KOSB, at the north west corner of Ginkel Heath. Cpl Davidson fought through the whole battle until he was captured and held as a Prisoner of War after the withdrawal.
