Airborne Assault MuseumAlfred Lamb was born in Liverpool.
Whilst doing his electrical apprenticeship, he joined Grace Road Paras in Liverpool. Along with his friends Mike Cullen, Billy Cookson and Pop Robson, also from Liverpool.
Alfred was trained at Weston-on-the-Green and at RAF Abingdon.
He enjoyed gliding and held a glider license.
