Sergeant Paul Bartlett of the Royal Marines died on June 27th 2006 during operations in Helmand Province. He was serving on special duties in support of the 3 PARA Battle Group and was killed during a planned operation in the Sangin Valley, northern Helmand Province as the patrol came under attack.
