Airborne Assault MuseumLance Corporal D J H Kimber served with the Grenadier Guards. He began his Guards service in 1970, before transferring to join No 1 Guards Independent Parachute Company in 1971.
During three years with Guards Parachute Coy, he took part in tours to Northern Ireland (gaining the GSM).
He remains active in the veterans community, as part of the Guards Parachute Association.
