Airborne Assault MuseumSergeant G Campbell began service with the Scots Guards in the late 1950s, serving three years as part of the British Army of the Rhine.In 1962, he joined the No 1 (Guards) Independent Parachute Company. In the first year he was deployed to Malaya and Greece, and took part in the Coy service in Cyprus in 1963, and Borneo in 1964.
He was also awarded the MBE during his career. He continues to be involved in the veteran community, as part of the Guards Parachute Association.
