Airborne Assault MuseumSergeant David G McAlister served with Scots Guards. He began service in 1957 and served with Scots Guards until 1963, when he transferred to No 1 Guards Independent Parachute Company.During three years service, part of which was as Anti-Tank Patrol Sergeant with Guards Parachute Coy, he was deployed to Cyprus and went to both Malaya and Borneo in 1964.
Sergeant McAlister has remained active in the veteran community, as part of Guards Parachute Association.
