Private Leslie Holt, son of Robert and Ethel Holt, of Hull, served with 12th (Yorks) Parachute Battalion. He took part in the D-Day landings to Normandy, during Op Overlord.Private Holt died on 9 June 1944, aged 21 years old. He is now buried at Ranville War Cemetery, Normandy.
