Company Sergeant Major Leslie Morgan was the son of Charles and Emily Morgan, and husband of Vera Morgan, of Monmouth. He served with the Army Physical Training Corps, attached to HQ 1st Airlanding Brigade.He took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden and died on 24 September 1944, aged 38 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
