Corporal Reginald Frank Taylor served with 4th Parachute Squadron, Royal Engineers.He qualified as a military parachutist in the Middle East Parachute Training School on course 45 and later took part in the Battle of Arnhem during Op Market Garden.

Cpl Taylor died on 18 September 1944, aged 25 years old, and is now commemorated on the Memorial at Groesbeek Canadian War Cemetery.
