Private George Griffin Benson, son of Vaulceno and Mary Benson, of Glasgow, served with A Company, 10th Parachute Battalion. He took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.Private Benson died on 24 September 1944, aged 21 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
