Pte Robert Kiltie Gray served with 1st Battalion, The Parachute Regiment (1 PARA) and was killed while on foot patrol in the Radfan.Pte Gray died on 22 August 1965, aged 21 years, and was buried with full military honours in Aden.

He was later repatriated to the United Kingdom, where he was given a second military funeral and is now buried at Holmston Road Cemetery in Ayr, Scotland.
