Private James Patrick Ford, son of James and Elizabeth Ford, of Runcorn, Cheshire, served with 1st (Airborne) Battalion, Border Regiment. He took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.He died on 29 September 1944, aged 21 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
