Corporal James Henry Boycott served with the 12th Battalion The Devonshire Regiment and took part in the D-Day landings to Normandy on 5-6 June 1944.Cpl Boycott died on 28 August, aged 28 years old. He is now buried at Bayeux War Cemetery, Normandy.
