Lance Corporal Frederick Frank Allen of Clapham North, London, served with 11th Parachute Battalion. He took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.Lance Corporal Allen died on 1 November 1944, aged 23 years old. He is now commemorated on the Memorial at Groesbeek Canadian War Cemetery, near Nijmegen.
